Last Sanctuary Rhubarb Pink Gin

A$65.00

Our Tasmanian Rhubarb Pink Gin showcases botanicals of Damask Rose, Tasmanian Lemon Myrtle, Lychee and premium Tasmanian Organic Rhubarb.

We sourced our rhubarb from a family farm outside of Launceston, where they have farmed and selectively harvested only the richest flavours and colour over many years, creating an incredible depth of flavour. Created with a balance of sweetness, floral and fresh tartness. Imagine Turkish delight, with a big splash of juniper. You won’t find any added sugar here.

All of our Last Sanctuary Gins are truly environmentally conscious, packaged using recycled glass, recycled cane waste paper, biodegradable closures and 100% plastic free.

We named our gin Last Sanctuary because the Derwent Estuary/River, on which our distillery is built, is one of the last sanctuaries for 3 Handfish species. To help with the conservation of these unique animals we are proud to donate a portion of sales from Last Sanctuary Gin to the Handfish Conservation Project. The Handfish Conservation Project was established in 2018 to implement a recovery plan for three critically endangered species of handfish; Red Handfish, Spotted Handfish and Ziebell’s Handfish. We release the second edition of our Last Sanctuary Gin series in celebration of the elusive pink Handfish which was recently rediscovered after no sightings for nearly 20 years.

A wonderful zesty gin, great muddled with watermelon, fresh berries or, our favourite, garnished with a sprig of Lavender. Mixes excellently with a light tonic. We recommend Tas Tonic Company Lilly Pilly Tonic.
